City Union Mission is truly blessed by the many individuals and church, youth and civic groups who choose to raise funds for the Mission in unique and creative ways.  We’re also grateful for our friends and neighbors who respond so generously.  However, because of recent incidents of door-to-door solicitations for City Union Mission and other local charities by fraudulent organizations—some even located out of our region—we feel the need to issue a word of caution about giving to anyone collecting on the Mission’s behalf with whom you are not familiar.

             If in doubt about any individual or group coming to your door—or contacting you by phone—collecting funds for City Union Mission, be sure to contact the Mission, your local police department or the organization itself before making any donations or purchases.
