Thank you First Baptist Church of Lee's Summit

First Baptist Church of Lee's Summit's Pastor Blake McKinney challenged church members to give generously to those who are less fortunate. As a result of this challenge City Union Mission was one of four recipients to a generous donation. Thank you Pastor Blake McKinney and the members of  First Baptist Church Lee's Summit for your selfless act.

"Blessed is he who considers the poor; The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble Psalm 41:1".

City Union Mission is an evangelical Christian ministry committed to sharing the gospel and meeting the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of men, women and children who are poor or homeless. The Mission has been restoring hope to Kansas City's poor and homeless for over 82 years. Last year, City Union Mission provided almost 292,000 meals for the hungry and over 127,000 beds for the weary.
